Kia Ora, Christmas music is playing and the decorations are up, Christmas is only 20 days away which also means that our school year is just about complete. Last week we had some Kākano students do some buddy reading. Everyone really enjoyed it and it was a great opportunity for the students in our class to be tuakana. This is the last full week of school and there are a lot of activities. Things on this week: Monday - The Kahikatea Big Day In Monday 6th December (tomorrow) is our Kahikatea Big Day In. This is a fun day of celebrations as we approach the end of the year. We have a range of fun-filled activities planned. If it is raining we will still be going ahead with the day. The children can wear mufti and will need to bring in their computers , togs, a towel, sunhat, sunscreen and a drink bottle of water .
