Welcome to Week 8 Term 3

Tena Koutou,

We’ve been back at school for two days and things have gone quite smoothly. Thank you all for helping us make the transition back to school. Children were very excited to see their friends and get back to some normality. Just a quick reminder that students are to take all rubbish home in their lunches and chormebooks need to be charged.

This week is Maori Language Week: "Kia Kaha Te Reo Māori" - Make the Māori language strong. We will be doing some fun activities around Maori language this week. Last week we learned how to introduce ourselves in Te Reo. Check out the video we made here.

The Virtual Assembly for this week if you didn't see it is Here .

Our library is on Tuesday, please remind your child to bring back their books.

Friday is ‘Wig Day’ please bring a wig and a gold coin donation all proceeds go towards Kids Cancer.

If your child is interested in any sport, please enrol them to ensure they get on a team.

Kia pai to wiki,

Sophie Bowie and the Kahikatea Team
